Township Rollers veteran Joel Mogorosi believes that the club benefited from participating in the 2017 Bokone Bophirma Maize Cup.
The Botswana side were beaten 2-0 by South Africa giants Kaizer Chiefs in the semi-final clash at the James Motlatsi Stadium on Saturday.
Former Bloemfontein Celtic winger Mogorosi reflected on Rollers' encounter with Amakhosi in Orkney, South Africa.
"Well, we had a youthful side and the young boys played well against a big team like Chiefs and they gave their best," Mogorosi told MaizeCup.co.za.
"It's a pre-season tournament and there are positives that we can take from the match, and we know where we need to improve.
The 32-year-old attacker also discussed Rollers' upcoming friendly match with Chiefs at the Francistown Sports Complex in Botswana this Saturday.
"We are benefiting from playing against Chiefs and we are looking forward to playing them again next weekend," he added.
'It's always an eye opening experience for the young boys in the team."
