Botswana giants Township Rollers have announced the appointment of Nikola Kavazovic as their new head coach.

The 41-year-old Serbian tactician has coached in his home country, Tajikistan, Sri Lanka, Maldives as well as Laos.

In August 2012, the new Rollers mentor was the youngest national team coach in the world when he was in charge of Tajikistan.

Kavazovic will be assisted by Mogomotsi Mpote, who guided Popa Popa to the 2016/17 Botswana Premier League (BPL) title.

2. Assistant Coach : Mogomotsi "Teenage" Mpote
3. Technical Assistant and Head of Youth Development: Dragojlo Stanojlovic (from Koceljeva, Serbia)
4. Goalkeeper Coach : Thabo "Mahala" Motang
5. Youth Coach : Leutlwetse "Luu Tshireletso"
6. Physical Fitness Trainer : Tshephang Chyna Mokaila
7. Team Medic : Patrick Rachaba
8. Team Doctor : Dr. Thusang Gure
9. Kit Manager : Tshepo Lentswenyane
10. Team Manager : Motshegetsi Mafa

Rollers will take on South African side Kaizer Chiefs in the Maize Cup semi-finals, and the winner will face Free State Stars or Platinum Stars in the final.

All games will take place at the James Motlatsi Stadium in Orkney, South Africa on Saturday, 15 July 2017.
