Platinum Stars central midfielder Enocent Mkhabela has disclosed that he will return to his parent club Kaizer Chiefs.

The 28-year-old player spent the second-round of the 2016/17 Premier Soccer League (PSL) season on-loan at Stars from Chiefs.

Amakhosi recently announced that Mkhabela will be given the chance to make his stay with Stars permanent.

“The matter is that I was on loan at Stars last season and that loan is up now,” Mkhabela told Kickoff.com.

“For now I have obviously heard through the media what Chiefs have said with regards to me and I have no problem with.

"It is just that for now nothing has been proposed with regards to that proposed permanent move to Stars," he said.

"I am aware that Stars want me back but at this stage I must still go back to Chiefs because they are the team that I still have a contract with.

"Once I report back we will take it from there. I just want to play football."

Chiefs are scheduled to face Botswana side Township Rollers in the semi-final of the 2017 Bokone Bophirima Maize Cup in Orkney, South Africa on July 15.
